WRECKS - The wrecks at Abu Nuhas; Ghiannis D, Carnatic, Chrisoula K, Marcus. The Thistlegorm, Dunraven, Ulysses, The Barge, Rosie Moller (experience required)
REEFS- Giftun, Umm Gamar, Shaab El Erq, Bluff Point, Abu Nuhas, Shag Rock, Shaab Umm Usk.

Looks great! I have dived all but Ulysses and R-M and really enjoyed them all. The reefs are good too.

Watch the depth on R-M... it's deep... and the "shallow" bit of the mast has now gone.

Marcus is my favorite.

Have a great time and safe diving

Rich

Camera etc.

I've got a F31FD camera, so I'll post a link to all my Magic-Filter photos/Videos when I come back.

Yup been told the RM is a deep one! Looking forward to +20m vis. My last dive 2 weeks ago was zero vis at 20m, not bad really, dive lasted 14 mins, boat cost £48. Nearly as expensive as my old sky-diving days.

Also?

I'm taking 1000 Egyptian Pounds (£100). Will I need to take euros as well?

I took a pair of 1.5mm gloves and I was glad I did. I hadn't noticed one of my boltsnaps had a sharp 'tag' on it and ripped my thumb to shreds within a couple of days of no glove wearing.

I wore the gloves for the remaining dives to protect the cuts. I was queried by one of the dive guides, but when I showed him why I was wearing gloves he didn't bother me any more

As far as I recall they were happy for people to wear gloves on the wreck dives anyway, just the reefs they frowned on it.

Oh, and have some standard UK coins with you too to 'pay' the guys that loiter around the toilets expecting payment. God knows what for, cos the toilets ain't clean!

10 and 20p coins should suffice...

[Edit] I'm talking about the airports and the like now, not liveaboards!
