| Expect the infamous "gypy" tummy and then if you don't get it you will be pleased Expect to be shattered by 9pm and 1 beer every night. Expect to do nothing more energetic than fall off a boat, or roll over in the sun. Expect to get bored of the food after day 3 when it all starts to weirdly taste the same. Expect to only need a tiny torch for the best night dives as the whole point is not to scare off or fry the things that like to live in the dark. But most of all.... Expect to have a brilliant time! It really shouldn't disappoint in any way.

My Trip... Am back from Blue Fin, had a great time. Pics will follow shortly. Threw away my magic filter after doing a photo course. Now into manual white balancing and coming 2nd in the on-board photo competion. ! Weather was too choppy to do the RM, but did 20 dives in total, 4 night dives, full penetration of the Marcus wreck (scary). Lovely... Can't wait to return. Dan

I'm off on Blue Fin 9th May, looking forward to my first Red Sea experience.

For me, it's the only way to do the Red Sea. So low hassle, everything is taken care of, you'll have a laugh with the divers on board, you'll do more diving from a liveaboard than you can do any other way (short of surface supplied) and you'll be thoroughly relaxed. One thing I really liked was to take a dive off here and there. It made for a muc more relaxing experience to have a few hours with basically the boat to myself. Oh, and you will need suncream. If you get burned you will regret it for days with the amount of diving you are doing and the rubbing of wetsuits and harnesses etc. Digs.

the brothers are very good at that time of year. the only advice i would add to what everyone else has said, is that you should try and get out and do some open water dives prior to going. egyption law states that you need a minimum of 50 dives to dive the brothers ( for good reason ). diving off of either of the brothers will be very different from inland diving that you have done. the currents can be quite strong there as already mentioned.
