| i went to mangaia, cook islands and can highly recommend it (if you're interested, pm me). it's a real paradise island. they get about 250 tourists a year and the islanders are the nicest group of people i've ever met. generally worked 8am until 1pm (hard life!), but was permanently first on-call for 6 weeks. only downside is no diving because there is no dive operator. however, i got to rarotonga (main island) a couple of times and the diving was good, but not world class. |
