Cozumel---Mexico

Well only 5 weeks to go and now starting to count the days

Staying at the Occidental Grand Hotel for 16 days and surprise surprise i taking my dive gear So anyone got any tips hints for the Hotel and the local dive sites ?
flying with First Choice and they have confirmed extra 10 kilo allowance so thats a good thing.

Hi Tommy

Had a day at Chankanaab Lagoon when we stopped at Cozumel on a Carribean Cruise in November last year.

My wife had a swim with the Dolphins in the morning and I had a shore dive after with one of the Dive huts on the beach there.

I was in for about 60 mins with a Dive guide and the cost was about £20.00, used their gear as I only took my mask and computer.

The viz was fantastic, There were lots of different fish to see and we even went into a couple of caves where there were some big Tarpon hanging around, there were a couple of bronze statues and some Cannon to see as well.

Cozumel was one of the places I would definately go back to, the Dive guide did tell me the diving further out was fantastic with lots of Sharks and Mantas to be seen on the different Reefs.
