Cool.

We're only flying into Hurghada, then transferring to Marsa Alam to board the Emperor Majesty.

Bit of a long drive, but I'm sure it'll be worth it!

It'll likely be £10 if you get the stamps from your friendly Travel Agent rep.

It'll be the official fee of $15 if you buy the stamps from the official window - as it says on the sign under the roof advising on current visa fees...

.. just depends which Q you decide to join and how much hassle you can take from the reps

Whatever you do, make sure you have the exact amount. Chances of getting change are usually slim.

Hurghada Information Network - New Egyptian Visa Regulation

Taza, don't forget the marina street festival Friday night and then there is a party (for those in your party not diving the next day) at Du Port Club which is just before your hotel. Du Port is open air, set around a swimming pool overlooking the marina. It is their opening party of the season and starts at 10pm and usually goes on until 4am ish. Bad news for those renting an apartment or living near there but you should get some sleep in the hotel :-)

I just paid $15 in Sharm if that helps - the bloody Visa has gone from postage stamp sized last time I went to a whole page of the passport
