Italy - Puglia recommendations

I'm off to the Puglia region of Italy next week.

Does anyone know what the diving is like in that region and can recommend me a dive centre?

I'm staying in Alberobello, which is a bit inland. Closest big coastal towns are Bari, Brindisi and Taranto. Gallipoli is also in the area.
