Algarve - Lagos to Sagres Diving Recommendations???

Hello All,
off to Burgau between Lagos & Sagres this August and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for diving operators on this bit of the coast... Also curious what I can expect to see !

Stayed in Burgau in 2006. Dived with Scuba Diving in Lagos Algarve Portugal - Dive Time It was run by a British diver called Martyn Falkous - very helpful. Nothing special about the dives - couple of octopus. I thought that it was even more barren than the med.

If you want to get wet, get away from the family its fine. If you are looking for spectacular recreational diving then I suggest that you look elsewhere.

Thanks divein, alas its a family holiday and diving is a short respite from being throttled/half drowned by the kids in the pool we live in hope heh ...

I can recomend: Blue Ocean Divers in Lagos, Portugal. Tauchen an der Algarve. Diving in the Algarve

That part of the Algarve has more sea life than the eastern side. Still it is the Atlantic and the not the med so very different life. I would say you went to a poor site or had bad luck, I've had very good dives on that stretch of coastline with excelent viz.
