Cocos vs Socorro Islands plus Sea of Cortez

Hi All,

Can anyone give me and SWMBO some advice on the above destinations...... we are thinking of going in November this year (shortish notice for liveaboards I know), and are thinking of.....

1. the full works 14 day trip to Cocos (with me probably having to be on continual IV seasickness treatment!) or....
2. 7-10 day liveboard to Socorro islands, plus some shore based at Loreto? or.....
3. Land based Sea of Cortez (Loreto again, as Cabo san lucas sounds like mini america!)

Any advice on those destinations would be most welcome...... we tend to like quiet, non partying dive resorts, not bright lights and nightclubs, so not sure if Baja pennisula is right for us!

I think you are too late for Cocos in Nov this year.
We had to book Oct 2010, 3 months ago!
