Talking Alaunia

Has anyone out there in Interwebbyland got a sketch of how the Alaunia lies now. I have read several reports and it sounds superb, but a sketch will be a big help on this big muvver if we have some pants viz

I gather that some quality wreck penetration is on offer with this one

Please note i am by no means anticipating pants viz, but hey these things happen

Paul, have you seen the one in 'England's Greatest Wrecks' by Rod Macdonald?

EDIT: Hang on, the picture is on the web:

No i had not seen that.

Hmmm don't really match what i have had described to me in the past, but does match what i would expect to see from experience

I have obviously treated anything in Dive Sussex with a big pinch of salt.

Actually Chris, it is. MacDonald wrote both books, but the website title is a little misleading - Eastbourne is a long way from Scotland

The link in my post is correct.

Enzo,

Are you THE Enzo whose diving vids I may have acquired through Steve, skipper of Nauticat (and Channel Diver of old) out of Brighton?

If so, I really enjoyed watching the vids of diving in the Channel and were they really drugs you found? If so, have you been otherwise engaged for the last few years? Do you still do the vids?

Bryan
A Hasting's diver whose Club USED to book charters with Steve before a drop in numbers of "proper" divers (and the increase of Holiday and Pond divers......and now just a drop in all divers) forced us to stop due to losing too much money when not filling the boat.

Ahh.. Kendall.....

Funny old business.

However, I think the schematic is of another boat. The Alaunia lays on its port side not on its bottom. Its also broken in the middle....

The one you posted looks good though - I'd like to dive it too....

Anyroad mate, its the thought that counts, good on yer...

Chris
