Glad you had a great dive Is there much left of her? I was contemplating diving her last year but in the wreck thingie which the dive mag does, it shows that she's pretty much flattened with a boiler here, some wood there.... Is this the case or are parts still intact? thanks

Got to agree with Muck muppet it was absolutley stunning by far my best dive so far spent 25 mins on her on Sat and was completely amazed. G.

Hi missshark, This was my only dive so far on the salsette, but I'm sure there will be loads of people who have dived her in a much more intact state! The wreck is far from "flat" - the bows and stern are still clearly identifiable. Lots of possible swim-thrus to explore if thats your bag. ATB

Stop posting how good the Salsett is, a couple of us are doing it next Sunday, if the viz is pants we know who to blame

We then Dived the BRittanic the next day and the vis was a little worse but still 15m+ vis. Cant remember much about that though exept torpedo launching tubes and chuffing huge crabs. 55m on air for 25mins tends to dull your memory.

I wish we had done the Brittanic, but we are limited to British waters and did the Boadicea. I have to agree that the vis was excellent, but got a little worse on sunday, looks like the may bloom is on its way. The Salsette is still an awsome wreck in shallow water, and yes the companionways are great to swim through. Thanks to those who organised, and took part in the trip.
