| Far Mulberry (11m), Shirala (25m) (e.g. with Wittering Divers' RIBS out of Bracklesham, Copperhead or one of the harboats out of Littlehampton). Louis (15-20ish) with various Portsmouth boats (e.g. Trojan, The Dive Connection) Swanage to do the Pier and the Fleur De Lys (15ish?) with one of the shuttle boats (e.g. Mary Jo, Swanage Diver) All shallow sites with stuff to see, and relatively easy to get to as a buddy pair; lots of trips running to them, and not too far from you.

Dive Dorset, Dive Hampshire and the IOW, and Dive Sussex. That'll cover all the wrecks and sites you will get charter boats offeringt o take you. Not huge amounts of info about each, but they give an idea.

| The Plymouth inshore wrecks would make a good weekend for a novice: James Eagan Lane, Scylla, Persier etc. Most of them can be dived at any state of the tide, are relatively shallow and the viz is usually reasonable. Plymouth is a good crack for a weekend as well. Try Brian or Dougie at Aquanauts Dive Centre. HTH |
