(IRELAND) RMS.LOUGHGARRY a msg from viking SAC

would anyone who is planing to dive the RMS loughgarry off rathlin. please give the comemerative plaque a wipe over . its near the bow ,or will be again soon (after i get it cleanned ). every now and again it gets overgrown with marine growth . unless someone goes down to give it a good scrub it gets lifted up by divers that think they have made a new discovery, if you do see it lifled or heard someone has it get them to drop it into the pub on the island and ask for peter.
or just give me a a call.

thanks Roger.

Rog

Could have done it last Tuesday if you`d have mentioned it earlier. Having said that, the current was ripping thru` that end, so we spent most of the time low on the decks or in the hold.

What a cracking dive, one of the best in the UK, mainly because it`s intact and the viz was superb.

Next time I dive it (don`t know when) I`l take some Brasso with me

Regards

Steve

Just as well you mentioned that Rog, 'cause you know this lot on here - they would have it off the wreck...

Then again, it doesn't look like a bit of plastic, a door knob, kitchen tile or anything else of 'value' so maybe not .
