Talking WRECK dives in the Meditearnean... any offers please?

Hi guys...

It's question time once again and you lot almost always seem to come up trumps!

Me and the boss have bought a camper van.... no nasty comments please, how else can you sleep on top of a compressor, a Haskell and a cylinder of O2 and eat decent nosh instead of wiggly Bolognese of dubious quality at dodgy over-priced restaurants?

Hmmm... thought so!

Anyways, the plan next summer is to drive down through Italy along the EAST coast, across to Sicily and on to Malta then back the same route but up the WEST coast of Italy instead - now we know the Maltese wrecks off by heart but we want to know of any must-do wrecks on the way.

We are not tied to going through the Italy both ways however so if you know of a good wreck or for that matter ANY must do site then shout up. It follows that Cyprus and the like are out (and we so wanted to do the Xenobia) because of distance and time... we'd love to do something similar eventually and try to get as far as Eilat.

So go on guys... dig deep and throw those recommendations at us!

Cheers!

Martin and TJ

PS... a very hairy excemas and a happy nude lear to one and all... ho ho ho, bah humbug etc. etc. etc.

Well the must-do is the Haven in Liguria. But there are plenty of wrecks to choose from on this italian website: relitti.it

Send a PM to Gordon Mackie. He knows quite a bit about diving in Italy.

Relitti back up now. Here's a complete list for Italy:
