Like the guy from Craster the other year who managed to lift a cannon from one of the sites and he placed it in his front garden. Certain people from the authorities got to know about it, paid him a visit and within a week it was back where it was found. He won't do that again. ![]()

| Well, what can I say about the toy lead soldiers, they were in the cargo manifest and I've seen quite a few of them, albeit mostly rather broken; however they were not just dumped altogether, but were shipped in their own small boxes. The guy from Craster is actually called Kenneth Clayton, but he lives in Chester-le-Street, County Durham. After winning a lot of money from a work accident on the rigs, he bought the big white house opposite the chip shop in Beadnell as a holiday home. He thought that because he had money he could just go out to Gun Rocks and destroy the cannon site for his own amusement, that is, until the Reciever of Wreck discovered. However unstead of taking the cannon back to Gun Rocks where it belonged, he just dumped it in Beadnell Bay. He eventually sold the house in Beadnell because not many local people or divers would speak to him. You are right about Stan too, he has let an awful lot of people walk all over him. He is a smashing guy, but was far too trusting Cheers Ron

Stan is a great guy and cooks a mean breakfast and I think everyone who has ever met the guy likes his stories. His son Lee is a top guy also. I know the house opposite the chippy in Beadnell, but never knew the guy who owned it, but I guess he got what he deserved. All makes for an interesting story.
