Favourite UK wrecks

As I had nothing better to do I counted up the number of different UK wrecks that I have dived. The total came to 153.

Then I thought about picking out the 10 best, that was a difficult job but here they are listed in alphabetic order, as I found it difficult to rate them.

Bell Virtue
Birgitte
Boadiccea
Eastpoint
Edam
Kilmaho
Murree
Pomella
Rotorua
Victoria

I realise that mine won't be on many people's top 10, but how about listing your own top 10, or less. But keep it to wrecks around the UK coast.

Tarbaka,
Thesis,
Hispania,
Fortuna,
Kyrra.

Not 10 but they are the ones that I remember as standing out.

City of Waterford
City of Westminster
St. Dunstan
Kyarra

I haven't done any that you mentioned

Defo the Hispania, but don't forget the Shuna, it's a good fun dive and easy because there's no tide.

The cruisers in Scapa are great as are some of the blockships, but the most enjoyable time I've had on a wreck was on the Maine. Perfect depth for an hour of rummaging around with less than 15 min of deco.

The James Barrie in great viz last summer was a hoot, but the cabaret made it more enjoyable: DIR boys with scooters narked off their tits
