markf saw the sea in a book once
identifying a porthole

Hello all, I know it’s a long shot but maybe someone can help identifying this porthole.

I took it out from a wreck sunk around 1920 ~1930 , since its in shallow water only fragment's left of the wreck and two steam boilers…

Based on these pictures, can anyone shed some light on the origin of this porthole or any useful info ?

looks to me like they were used to let light and air in but I could be wrong.

hmmmm I'm afraid that in the last 80 years or so it only let in sea water..
