Scylla

Hi Brian (Aquanauts) and other forum members

I e-mailed as many people as I could on 30 May when I found out that the survey was going ahead (weather permitting) and that the company we used wished the area to be clear. (Brian – I couldn’t find an e-mail address on your website so used your e-mail form…sorry if this didn’t reach you but you were on the list of people to advise - honest!). I did apologise at the time for the short notice.

Scylla Reef was primarily created as a resource for divers and we are unable to stop divers diving the reef. It is very rare that we need to request the co-operation of divers in order that some survey work may be undertaken but sometimes it happens.

Anyway folks, apologies once again for the short notice and for any inconvenience. Fortunately, the survey finished early so hopefully disruption was kept to a minimum.

Best regards
Deborah

P.S It's good to see that many people are enjoying diving Scylla. If anyone comes across anything that looks new or unusual on Scylla I'd really love to hear about it (any pics would be good too!). I doubt I'll have much chance to check the forum so best to e-mail me at work - the address is deborah.snelling@national-aquarium.co.uk.
