| Wreck of the Alex Van Opstal Dear all, My club, Oxford BSAC have recently started a project to map and survey the wreck of the Alex van Opstal. As part of this project we're keen to get hold of as much information as possible on the wreck which we'll collate and bung on our website. We have information from the ships owners and some of the original plans. Sadly the current state of the wreck is very different from those and reflects a rather destructive explosive based salvage operation that was conducted sometime after WWII. Does anyone have artifacts or information out there from the Alex ? We don't want any artifacts but photos / descriptions would be really helpful. If you'd like to check up on our progress please have a lok at the project page on our website.
