    I found a virgin wreck - maybe

    Hi All

    Been a while!

Anyway I was on Google earth and found what looks like a wreck here

    50°41'38.87"N
    1°55'42.72"W

Do you think it is or know anything about it? I cant find much info.

    Thanks

Looks like an old jetty - if you follow the road down from the NW it lines up pretty well.

    Happy hunting!

It could well be but it looks like two boilers just about half way. Its probably is an old jetty or some bit of crap though lol

Dam, reply from a guy I emailed about this

    Dear James

Thank you for your e mail, the feature certainly looks like a wreck, and
has even caught archaeologists out in the past. From this you will realise
that I do know about it. What it is, is the remains of an old sewage
outfall pipe. Today only the section closest to the coast can be seen, but
if you look on older aerial photos (I attach one from 2002) the rest of
    the pipe can be seen.

I am sorry I don't have better news, but keep looking, I am sure there is
    plenty yet to be discovered.

    Oh well worth a try

    James

The brown boat towards the top left of this pic is partially sunk - you can just make out the edge of the hull. Our clubhouse is middle bottom of the picture, about 100m away
