A few years ago, maybe ten now, while on a NAUI instructor course I spotted some bits of paper soaking in a tank, I asked what it was all about and the guy gave me a piece that had been processed. The thing is, I never made a note of the providence.
All I remember is he said it was on a wreck off the East coast and had been soaked for a good 2 - 3 years so it came up about 12 years ago.
What I can tell you is it is uncut bank notes that were being transported still on the roll. The markings say reserve bank of India 5 rupees.
The pics could be better, it is behind glass hence some reflection, I don't want to take it out of the glass in case it falls apart.
So, good people of YD, do you know anything about this find or where I should ask to find out more?
I wouldn't know where to find the guys name..even if I could remember it so thats a non starter.
