    Try Caving with WetWellies

Ever wanted to Try Caving? Perhaps you had a go at school or with the scouts and figured that was all there was to it. Or maybe you didn't enjoy yourself so much and didn't fancy it again?
WetWellies caving is a new set up owned and run by cave diver, Christine Grosart. She has been caving since her early teens and comes from a family of cavers and divers. She has experience in some of the longest cave systems in the world and in discovering new cave of her own. She is a fully accredited Cave Leader and is insured to take members of the public underground. She is also a Paramedic by trade, so you will always be in safe hands!
She aims to give people an amazing experience and the opportunity to see caving in a new light.
Unlike other caving centres, Chris gives all her clients a talk and slideshow prior to their trip, explaining how caves are formed, showing you what you can find underground and why caves are formed the way they are and how they vary in nature and character from region to region.
At this stage, participents are pretty excited about what they are about to do and get so much more out of the trip, knowing about what they are seeing than just getting wet, cold and tired.
Chris makes sure that everyone has well-fitting, comfortable and good quality caving equipment and this is hired on your behalf - all you have to do is put it on!

Often you hear horror stories of people getting 'stuck' and almost hypothermic on poorly managed caving trips. We don't like that sort of thing at WetWellies - you are there to have fun and the trip will only be as challenging as you want to make it.
So far, everyone who has come on a WetWellies trip have either booked up again or intend to.

Trips can be run for individuals, couples or groups - ideal for clubs and, with a female leader, would make an ideal adventure day out for Hen Parties.
All you need to bring is a packed lunch, some dry clothes and a sense of humour!
Trips can be arranged in the Mendips or South Wales for half a day or a full day or evening trips (Mendips only).

For bookings and enquiries, visit the Try Caving section of the website Home - Chris Grosart
You will be sent and enquiry pack telling you everything you need to know. If you are still up for it, you can arrange a suitable date with Chris and she will send you a booking pack with final arrangements for your trip.

For a testimonial, see SoggyFox's Trip report https://www.yorkshire-divers.com/foru...t-wellies.html

Christine has a last minute slot available on 18th March - get in touch either through the website, or I can forward on any PM's for you if you prefer. You will have a great day out!

We look forward to seeing you underground soon.
