Details of AP breathing systems for James Cameron

I though some special designed system would have been constructed, actually looks like bits of a vision cobbled together!!!

Yep, but would you want to trust your life to a slightly modified but proven system or go with something new and untested?

One of the things that attracted me to the YBOD was the large number of crash test dummies* that had ironed out the big problems before I strapped myself into one and went diving.

In any case a big feather in the cap for AP.

Thank goodness AP's parts hadn't date expired on the shelf, Mr Cameron could still be waiting to make his dive (for a few more years).

I understand there was an anxious delay of a few weeks whilst the whole submersible was approved for use in dishwashers.
