    Email question.

    If I use 'Alt
    PrtScr
' and paste the image into Paint and then 'cut & paste the bit of that image
    straight
into an email some recipients can see the image and some can't.

I'm guessing this is due to some security setting within the email software? Anyone know how to switch this off

If relevant I use MS Outlook.

[edit]I used to know how to do this!
[edit]Is it down to the 'mail format' (plain text, MS Outlook Rich Text or HTML)?
[edit]Or was that to do with being able to decrypt emails .................

it will depend in part on which mail client the recipient is using.
attaching a jpg or pdf file might be a better option.
that voodoo stuff don't do nuthin' for me

Sigh. I'm lazy and if there isn't too much clutter with my screen print I can paste it straight into the email.

If they are using Outlook Express (likely) it could one of these settings, all under Tools->Options on the menu:
Read tab, if "Read All Email in Plain Text" is ticked - untick
Read tab, if "Automatically Download..." is unticked - tick
Security tab, if "Block Images And Other External Content..." is ticked - untick
Security tab, make sure "Internet Zone" is selected at the top

Similar options exist in Outlook too.

As a bit of an aside.

Is anyone else using FireShot to capture and edit screen dumps?

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5648

I'm using Firefox as my Browser, and this little tool (free!) allows you to use pointers, edit, add images and loads more really easily... export to whatever format you need too...

I don't use outlook. I use yahoo. I like this email service so much that I decided to order yahoo email signature generator. This is a very cool thing for serious people, businessmen and companies. It is very important that your signature meets certain requirements and is unique and beautiful. Don't you think?
