one of those questions that drive you mad...

what's the name of the book/ list that has all of the rich/ famous / 'important' people's names and addresses.... I thought it was Burke's Peerage, but not sure if I'm right or not ... I've googled it but it BP is a subscription service so not sure if this is what I'm after...

(I know, VERY random question!)

Who's Who?

Is that what you're (not) thinking of ?

Welcome to Marquis Who's Who Online

Could be, but looks very American... after the UK version

HTH
Forbes' A List ?
Might be...

Too many Proles  (as in 1984, not Poles, if you wondered)

Yeah, that's what I thought...

Thanks to all

I'm not sure what more wrong here, the fact that you are refering to a non-existant book in a non-existant place, or the fact that I'm correcting your spelling of a non-existant book in a non-existant place!

It is "Twurps Peerage".

but even with clarification, that's probably not much help.

cheers,
Paul

Surely the name is at the top of the letter confirming your entry in the book?

:D
