I have just come off the phone to the hairy man with boat and he said when asked on prospects for this weekend ...

"In one word Gav, shite. It'd be like diving in paint if we could get out at all."

So that about sums it up. I've got the word out for any dips going on at Loch Fyne or Long ... I'll post later today.

Ben - I have a quarry to dive in on Sunday if ya wanna pop up if not nae bother.

We will be able to get Nitrox on Saturday if you wanna dive devil gas. (Max depth 20m) - come on what's the best mix?

Right Ben,

We're booked for the quarry on Sunday if you still wanna go.

Quarry is 15 mins from my house and is bigger than Hodge but not as deep. Max depth 20m and viz very clear out of shallow bits. No life in there apart from golf balls and the very occaisonal leech or water-boatman.

Parking is approx 1m from waters edge and there are no ladders to climb or tunnels to traverse.

If you still wanna come give me some idea of your arrival and we can go to the malt whisky soc or sommat.
