I'm doing the ANDI Trimix course in a couple of weeks due to my local TDI English speaking instructor being on holiday. I have no experience of ANDI courses and their website is rather vague. Does anyone have any experience of ANDI? just wondering what I can expect in the way of manuals etc.

Ian,

its been about 6 years since I taught ANDI. Their materials were absolutely excellent, but some of their practises would be seen as funny;

- Deco gas can goto 2 bar
- O2 clean anything above 23%

having said that, it wouldnt suprise me if they've changed

Like everything, what really counts is the instructor.

Hope you have a cracking trimix course

Thanks Zak,

I'll put a post about how it goes, it looks like we'll be diving the last British warship sunk in WWII, HMS Vestal and another WWII wreck, the Peterling (sp) sunk by a US sub in '43 so it should be fun.
