In one of the Scottish Sea Lochs on a recent trip I saw a few of these blue balls on kelp:

They were a 1cm - 2cm across. Any ideas?

Don't know what they are, but I saw quite a few greenish ones (they looked like hairless Gooseberries) under Trefor Pier on Sunday.

Any ideas?
Egg capsules of some kind of worm - sorry don't know the species.

Yep, worm eggs -- could be paddleworm, but it's pretty hard to tell the species just from the egg case, at least for a non-expert like me. And in fact lugworm eggs can look similar too, I think... Google-image "paddleworm eggs" and you'll see some similar examples.
