I have a small dilemma in that my new dry suit has pockets that only a small child could use so I'm looking at getting some bigger ones fitted.

Now Ive discussed this with the LDS where it was purchased from and as its still under warranty we both do not want to just cut the old pockets off as they have been stitched and taped.

I have a choice should oceanic say its ok to remove the old pocket and the LDS "Oceanic dealer replace them is which ones.

Choice 1 7516
Choice 2 7518 but no size
Choice 3 7532 and cut the leg straps off
Choice 4 7533 which I think may be like a rucksac

I'd avoid anything with a zip as velcro has less to break and is easier to use (from my own experience). After that as long as you get the size you need that's all that matters.

You make it sound like you really want choice 3 but don't want to worry about cutting the straps off. If that's the case just ring up bowstone and ask, they'll make you one up without the straps. They are very good like that, and if you want something they don't currently make, they are very good at making up whatever you want/desire.

What he said - just give Simon a Bowstone a call and they'll make them to any spec you want.

Ive got some Bowsone pockets that fit in my webbing for Holiday stuff when Ive got no pockets.
The zips are small and rubbish.
On my drysuit I have o3 zipped pockets and they are great, the zips are easy to open and close, pockets drain well and they are a good size.
I just bought another o3 suit and it has a velcro pocket on 1 side allready so rarther than just remove it and replace it from new I thought id give the velcro a go, Ill make sure that eveythings clipped off inside to bungy so bits cant be lost out of the sides.
probably change it though for a nice o3 zipped one.

I had pockets replaced by Hammond Drysuits, I'm pretty sure they could supply you with the size you want.
