I learned to tie a bow tie from a Budweiser beer mat many years ago. Who said going to the pub when at uni wouldn't help one's education?!

It is entirely possible my YD account may have just been hacked by Ian @ 1904

but the last laugh is on him , cos whilst he was posting on my behalf , mrs 1904 was dressing me ;-)
This is a pretty lame hacking, he could have at least pretended you like cheshing? ;)

Steve is right that is rubbish hacking. Anyhow, my top tip is to tie the bow tie around your thigh then transfer it to your neck and tighten it up.

Best

Ah yes, however Dave and I have certain rules about what is and is not acceptable when given free access to someone else's internet access. ;)

He is still practising how to tie the tie, despite lessons from my better half. Dave has a big red number, and mine is purple..........bow tie that is

Some standards of behaviour must be maintained, even if very low.

All in a good cause

Dave and myself where in Bude last night attending a charidee bash with 4 Poofs and piano as the main event, plus our better halves to ensure that we behaved. In the event it was my beloved that started dancing upon the chairs first, and I merely followed suit.

I have no idea what Dave was up to but he was somewhere at the front of the crowd who were all singing a chorus very loudly " Do you take it up the a55?"

Dave discovered the more exhuberant side of my beloved, as my shy and retiring wife changes slightly when presented with a dancefloor....... :)

Our bow ties behaved themselves.

Dave also has a photo......
