Hello everyone,

I'm looking for licensable footage (eg you own the copyright), of fish and shellfish species.

We are making a new series for the BBC that follows offshore fishermen across the UK and are looking for licensable footage to cut with the topside footage of fishing. We're keen to show animal behaviour in order to contextualise the skill and knowledge of the fishermen and women.

We are interested in footage of Atlantic fish and shellfish species shot in deep water, including cuttlefish, squid, prawn, whelk, king scallop, lobster, brown crab, cod, whiting, haddock, mackerel, hake, plaice, dover sole, pollock and dog fish. We're also looking for footage of shipwrecks in the English Channel and hake gill nets hanging in the water.

If anyone has such footage, please email Connie Turton at [email protected].

Kind regards,
