Oh dear. I don't suppose you've got about £700 hanging around that you just couldn't work out what to do with? :frown:
Or being wildly optimistic you could try checking the battery box over for shorts.

I've had, and seen others have brand new batteries fail on a cold morning. Try warming the batteries up (in your pocket) and giving it a little time, and don't chuck the new ones that failed, they will probably be fine soon. And keep spare batteries in the house overnight.

Sounds like bad connections. They could be anywhere.
A new loom is likely, as are cracks in the handsets that has allowed the corrosion that causes these faults.

Is Coax going to be a supported format without a cell from Teledyne or AII?
the question on everyones lips at the moment.
hope we don't have to go back to molex connectors their total shite.

ow good question!!!!!!!! just spoke to apd, full rebuild with coax loom new cells and hand sets £780 ick ......
fs , least dick turpin had the decency to wear a mask.
