well the diving was ok and the octopusses were great... but all the rest.. hmmmm

Just ask Helen F H to tell you the 'real' story behind the underwater footage ;) (Hazel and Helen were manning the RIB that they used to dive off!)


Suffice to say, alot of it was scenarios that were set up specifically for filming, and the VO was all done at the bottom of a ladder post the dives :)

Claim to fame... excellent...

Interesting... but I suppose they have a schedule and we viewers want to see animals, so most things are "planned"....

well ...robbie the lobbie got his 2 seconds of fame

2 days filming ....... 2 octopussies....... 4 lobsters .........a wolf fish (straight out his tank) and miranda and dan with hours of trying to get the mikes to work .


still ..... good sequence !

phewww... if it had been Monty I would have had some real hero off pedestal issues.. lol

so.. go on, tell me more, not seen the programme at all...

YouTube - ''Nick Baker's Weird Creatures'' Through Harry Tinted Eyes will give you an idea, as seen through Harry Hill's very sarcastic eyes (seems like the sound's out of sync a little, but you get the idea).

The running joke is that he travel's halfway round the world to not find the animal he's travelled for :)
