I own the commercial premises that my business operates in under me as a sole trader, which is in the process of becoming a ltd company. Once completed, I will be setting up a commercial tenancy agreement for the PLC, of which I am the sole shareholder, to lease the premises off me as a private individual.

Can I sign the agreement on behalf of both myself as the commercial landlord and as the company director for the business leasing the premises? If not, which I suspect is the case, who can sign on behalf of the business if there are no other shareholders?

I'm just researching before getting legal advice.

I'd rather be diving than this headache.

For plc in the OP read Private Limited Company (not public) or private company limited by shares (no secretary needed or wanted). Sorry, didn't make that clear tho' doesn't change the query about whether I can sign as landlord and tenant. Thanks for non-OP related advice but got an accountant already working on it.
