Custom Divers TDB (crossover harness)

Hi guys
Having dived the K17 out of Eyemouth with a 74min run time on twin 12s and 2 7ltr stage + bits and bobs hanging off here and there i have found the cross over system at the back of my neck on the harness most uncomfortable after the dive, from shoudler to shoulder no pain no rash no marks just a feeling of being sunburnt under the skin on touching. To the point were i have altered the harness to look more a standard harness strapping system, has anyone else got anything similar ?

I did about three dives with the supplied harness, then ripped the lot off and fitted a 2 piece harness (kept the left shoulder break). Felt a lot better when I got rid of all the clutter. No need for the chest strap (I have arms to stop the shoulder straps falling off), no need for the crotch strap (I have a waist, I know some don't). TBH I wasn't that impressed with custom divers wing set up, but I got it for a reduced price. Certainly wouldn't pay full retail for one.

I have used a TDB harnes for about ten years. I just uncrossed it and used as a normal config.

SInce getting the TDB I have tried severl options from a one piece to OMS and ODS systems because I dont like the D ring and loop layout on the CD wing. I have always ended up using the TDB again because its the best adjustable harnes out there (by which I meen kitted up and in the water you can still adjust it)
