Not books to read on deco stops (though I could see a market for an underwater Kindle), books about deco and technical diving. I've just read Deco for Divers and I'm looking for some ideas for further reading. Any suggestions?

I heard some good things about 'technical diving from the bottom up' from Kevin Gurr. I believe it focuses on pretty much all aspects of technical diving.Haven't read it myself though. 'The last dive' has big parts about the history and development of technical diving in it, next to the story line.

If you are really interested in deco theory, you could read the papers written by Young and Wienke and so on. But they tend to be pretty complicated in maths. Another source for lots and lots of scientific papers about diving is: Rubicon

Here is some good info about ratio deco: Ratio deco on 32%
and here aswell: Ratio deco Tech1

Read BUCKET loads of stuff on decompression... got just a few suggestions for you (note i personally dont rate Deco for Divers after i've read some of the other stuff out there ;-)

1. The future of diving : 100 years of Haldane and beyond

2. Any book by Trevor Norton

3. Deeper into diving

4. Diving physiology in plane English

and a few more on top of that, but that should keep you going :)
