How life, forms and adapts to fill available space is fascinating, if the fish have got their own lights you just know you are tooooo deep.

for those interested in this. there's a professor at plymouth uni (kerry howell) who regularly surveys the deep seas around the UK.

to be honest the shots aren't half as glamorous as the ones previously linked, but they are from the UK waters!

she showed me some cool pictures of a camira (sp?) shark who seem to be very curious of her ROV's lights
