Well, I've been lurking around here and eavesdropping on your enlightening conversations for long enough, I reckon. So hello to you all! I'm a PADI RD with woefully little experience and a lamentable number of UK dives (which I'm hoping to improve on this year). So please, consider me a newbie - I do.

Hey Che,

Weren't we all once?! Nay worries mate, get in amongst it and get yourself on a dive with us soon! See the Planned Trips section. Your honest approach will work well for you here, we accept ALL divers - regardless of agency/school/experience etc. Ask any question you like (none too stupid!) - we'll certainly help where we can.

Hope to see you in the wet with us on a Gig soon!

Cheers,

So, erm, what sort of diving are you thinking of here?
And how many pairs of CKs and Y-fronts am I likely to need, do you reckon?

<font color='#736AFF'>Hi Che
Welcome to the wonderful, sometimes comical, always educational world of YD

Any chance of some more info, such as where you are based?

What's your name Che?

I feel strange (a lot of the time) refering to you as Che or CheB, it's difficult to pronounce. Are you possibly french? Am I possibly mad? Enough! I'm gibbering, I'll have to go fondle some dive kit, I wonder if the wifes wearing flippers?

That will teach me to type too quickly! I think the correct answer depends on how many minutes of deco you plan to do and if you have a pee valve!

J.W. So come on whats wrong with Essex girls, I mean you've got so much choice, there all named Tracy, wear white stilletoes, and have the most warmest of southern accents, well they did when I lived there.

And, I'm told, some of them are even able to tell the difference between "they're", "there" and "their".

Greetings from Pedants' Corner by the way!

As there's just the one of you, shouldn't that be "Pedant's Corner" ?

Nice try, but I'm sorry Tom, but somehow I don't think I am alone.

OK, how about: You really only needed one  "but" in that sentence.

Is that any better?
Have I won the pedantry contest yet?

And that's what you get for trying to be smart whilst also being on the phone!  Who says girls can multi-task?!

And thus defeated by my own carelessness, I am forced to concede to your superior gift for pedantry sir!!

(Does that mean you'll be joining me in Pedants' corner?
)

If it makes you happier about your apostrophe placement, OK.

Listen dammit, I'll concede the spurious 'but' - BUT not giving you an inch on the apostrophe!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
