Dive terrorists

After having seen several posts regarding the "dive terrorists" I thought I would share a bit of info I found in a newspaper over here last weekend.
Apparently local government sources say that up to 150 people have been trained as PADI divers (no need to worry then

) and are all suspected of having done so for terrorist purposes. This training has been done at various schools in Holland but none were mentioned specifically.
I thought these were just rumours from the States but it seems there may be some truth in them after all?

<font color='#0000FF'>Hmmm....I would have thought terrorists would want to do their deeds with rebreathers, so PADI would seem like a pointless option for them, besides I'm sure any motivated terrorist could manage to figure it out on their own, perhaps some security agency should check for sales of the "Scuba for Dummies" books against dodgy sounding "Johnny Foreigners"

Wonder what options they chose for their advanced cert?

Deep, Navigation, Search & Destroy, Underwater mine laying and Night Dives would be my guess
