<font color='#000080'>I got married in Jamaica in 1994 (Had to look the year up
)

I did a quick survey on how often I got asked if I wanted some smoke (you know what i mean
).  It averaged out to about every 50 yards.

Loved the place and at least they know how to take a 'no thank you' answer.

My funny story for the day,

I went out to get some food in Jamaica and when I was walking down the road a bloke came upto and started chatting, eventually the conversation got round to his obvious line of business

"Hello maaan,  see my sister over there, she is very pretty ain't she"
"Well,  umm Yes, very attractive"
"You like her,  maybe you like to spend some time with her "
So at this point without wishing to offend I went for the obvious
"Sorry mate, but I just got married yesterday"
To which he replied
"Thas ok man,  your wife can watch"

Somehow can't imagine that would have worked somehow

Enjoy Jamaica...

Bren,

Just came across this post.

I worked with Andy on a couple of occasions whilst he was stationed at Killingbeck. I was aware of his passing but all the time I knew him (as a casual working acquaintance) I did not know he was a diver (or that he was a YD member).

He was a really nice bloke, keen at his job and hard as chuffin nails, if a bit eccentric at times ;)

Only goes to show how fragile we really are in the great scheme of things.

Your post brings it all back....

As you say; RIP. :(
