I am sitting here with a Draeger mil-spec twin set in the original transport case.  The set consists of an invert 2x7l 300bar set, guard, harness straps, integrated first stage and Draeger second stage.  Manifolded with center turn-off valve (looks like J-type?).  Nice big soft rubber valve knobs.  Very nifty pressure gauge harness strap bracket.
Any of you guys have some info on these sets?

Sounds very like Hobby's ex-police setup, unfortunately Hobby lost his internet access so we don't hear from him, which is a shame as his experience and knowledge is vast. Perhaps Bren or someone frmo Hobby's neck of the woods an get in touch with him?

Item comes from German ex-submariner.  Only has one hp line for gauge and one lp for second stage.  Everything is super protected.  Nothing can get close to the first stage.  Protective guard at bottom.  Haven't used it but am looking for info on the performance on the first and second stages.  Would it be able to handle an octo if a s/s adapter is made for the first stage... Can post a pic if anybody is interested.

You might want to PM or seek advice from Scuba1 on here (MIchael). He'll probably be able to offer an opinion on this as it I think it might have featured in his 'previous life'.
