A few people have stated they need / want more practice at using DSMB's - something I could do with too!

How about a trip where we get some good diving and could focus on getting the basic DSMB skills sorted with help from a few of the more experienced here?

I know I would be dammed appreciative - even with a crate or two of beer if necessary.

Venue - suggestions? I've never been to Capernwray but would really like to do an easy shore / boat dive - remember I am a newbie!  Anglesey?

Date - 1 or 2 days over a weekend before end Sept?

Who's up for it?

Cheers all.

Capernwray would probably be a good venue for practising skill sets, plus it gives the added advantage that any dates arranged are NOT going to be blown out and everyone can actually get to meet up, could be a bit of a laugh, a couple of dives with a purpose and a few beers afterwards.. count me in..

It's a long way from Edinburgh but count me in. I always look forward to diving in semi-lifeless overpopulated holes.

But really ... practice is always a good thing and I'll come sailing down the M6 with blob ready to go.
