Unfortunately there's been another one. What an awful year this is shaping up to be! The details were only briefly on Ceefax last night:

A 40 year old Female was taken ashore in Scapa Flow at 3pm, Sun 2nd May. Further detail are not being released until the NOK have been informed.
Cause of death will not be released until after a Post Mortem.

That information is off the top of my head, but that's the jist of it.

Condolences to family, friends and anyone who knows this poor girl.

Apologies, I should have checked the local web news first;

Police have named a woman who died in a diving expedition at the weekend.

Helen Simpson, 40, from Cheshire had been in Scapa Flow, Orkney, when the incident happened on Sunday at about 1500 BST.

Northern Constabulary said the woman's exact cause of death had yet to be confirmed and that investigations were continuing.

A report is to be sent to the procurator fiscal, but there were not thought to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
