Hey Peter,

Haven't you missed a rather obvious and common one: 'Beattrice' ?? Common as pebbles on a beach mate

Nice poll, I voted Pierre, Peter and have to tell a stoary about my name. When I was born my parents decided to call me Pierre, actually I never asked why, so this is going to be first thing tomoorw, if I remmber
During my batism the priest told my father that I cannot be called Pierre but Peter as there isn't a saint Pierre, my dad did not care as he said no one can tell me what I call mt son. And so I was always called Pierre. The when I was 18, I went to called my ID card, to discover I am called Peter Pierre

Regards

Pierre

I think that there are a few of us out there  but I can think of some more common girls names...

Emily (25,714 girls were named Emily, making them the most common baby names for the year)
Chloe
Sarah
Anne (with or without the 'e')
Charlotte
Sophie
Hannah
Georgia
Emma
Grace (one of my favourites!!!)
Chelsea

Tha name 'Kate' originates from Greece and means 'Pure'

Anyone else want to know what their name means?!

Yeah go on then, what does Darren mean...

Also, just out of interest, anyone know why Darren became popular around the late 60's / early 70's?

I know of one explaination and will post it if no one else replies.
