Have never dived Hodge , and missed another opportunity , but where do you park and enter the water as I may get to dive there one day.

bit of a task, but here we go:

Drive up the lane and PASS the quarry on the RHS.

At the first set of houses (usually a lot of cars dumped around) knck on the door of the cottage on the right.  pay £4.00 and the guy will let you down the barred lane to the left.  go through the gap in the wall and cross the very shallow stream on the left to park up.

from there, parallel to the lane you just came down is a culvet leading to a tunnel.  ususally a knee deep stream running from it.  walk up the tunnel (you'll need a torch) about 100 ish metres and you'll come to a steel ladder (6 rungs) that drops you into the quarry.

That's it really, bit of a slog, but a really unique dive site, very picturesque.  BE AWARE OF FALLING SLATE!  the top of the cliff edge is loose in places and you do get the occaisional fall...especially if you 've got any really clever tourists at the top kicking and throwing things into the hole!!  Enjoy it.. it's 5 degrees at the moment and the viz was 10 plus.
