Never stayed in the hotel, but Sharks Bay is utterly fantastic. Comparatively quiet beach, owned by the Bedoiun rather than some hotel chain, fantastic snorkelling round the reef wall - even seen an eagle ray here while snorkelling. Gangs of lionfish round the jetty - worth a visit towards evening to watch them working as a team to round up shoals of fry. Reef platform unsurprisingly very kicked, but go round the edge and the coral formations and colours are totally gorgeous. Great fish restaurant on the beach - again, bedouin owned , so no beer. Chill out and drink the mint tea while looking out over the bay.
