Hi all

I am currently an enthusiastic snorkeler, working my way through an open water diving course in Mossel Bay, South Africa. I moved here from Edinburgh to work as a field assistant on a Great White Shark research & education programme.

I've seen some amazing sights out here, including full vertical breaches inches from my nose, skyhopping, horizontal breaching, gaping, ariel gaping etc etc as well as lots of the sharks underwater (either from the cage we use, or when snorkeling).

I can't recommend Mossel Bay highly enough for diving. Definitely add it to your list of dive sites to visit if you ever come to South Africa!

Cheers
Esther

Welcome--wow, sounds a hell of a lot more exciting than the chairborn diving I've been doing lately. :)
