help with finding Dive Operators in Egypt

Hey everybody!

To make things easier for anyone planning to come diving in the Egyptian Red Sea I have now added links to all the Dive Centres on the different locations.

This is how it works: If you are looking for a dive centre on a particular location, say Safaga, you click on "Safaga" in the left link-column and when your browser redirects you to the Safaga page you find links to all the Dive Centres in Safaga in form of banners in the right hand column. There is one list with Dive Centres that has been approved by CDWS and at the bottom a link to the "Black List".

The same goes for the Liveaboard Operators: Click on "Liveaboards" in the left hand link-column and when your browser redirects you to the Liveaboard page you find all the Liveaboard Operators to the right. If you're looking for a particular boat you can scroll all the way down and there is a list of all the liveaboard vessels in the Egyptian Red Sea.

If you find a link that is not working or there is a link missing please feel free to let me know and I'll fix it right away.

This information comes in an alphabetical order. The website aziab.com is still 100% independent from operators and free from advertising. Pure information free of charge for everyone interested.

Hehe liked your page of "funny stuff".. but you seem to have missed out on Sharm el Sheikh... I couldn't find a page for our area.
I'm working on that... You'll find a PM in your inbox...

For anybody looking for a DC in Egypt: check out this list of blacklisted diving centres.
But ignore the list, its old, dated and inaccurate. Many centres on that list are open and legal, many other centres closed aren't on that list. Its worthless.

For example the freedive centre closed because it "didn't have enough tanks" isnt listed.

Are you sure the freedive centre is open and operating legally? The list is only referring to "Blacklisted" centres and nothing else! It has no power to close them!!! What about the other centres in Dahab on that list? Why indeed - would they list closed centres????????

If you are then why dont you get onto the CDWS and get them to update it?
The black list is updater on a regular basis and the dive operators that pass are being moved to the "green list" right away. There will be a function on the CDWS website - according to a conversation I had with them recently - which will allow you to search for new changes in the lists. The info I have on my page I update after checking changes in the list directly with CDWS office via email.

It was open, then closed for the above reason by them.

As for getting CDWS to do anything, give up. Its why several reps have walked out of meetings after hours of trying to get some sort of action from them on various issues and getting absolutely nowhere.
