Right i have just brought a new wing that has a backplate trouble is i want to use it with a single tank when away on holiday, I have the tank straps and its rigged (short of adjustment) but how do i attach the wing to the back plate?

Ron,

Whether you use twins or single, the wing should be sandwiched between the tank(s) and backplate thus keeping it in place.

For a single cylinder you may need a single tank adaptor (if your wing and backplate don't have the cut outs to thread cam bands through). The STA simply bolts onto the backplate with the wing sandwiched between.
