currently got down to 8 lb (so if I twin I'll be leadless!) but just wondering what the max people know of,

there's a guy I know who needs 36Ib and has to have it on two weight belts as it won't go round him otherwise,

also known as Dan, Dan, weight belt man.

<font color='#0000FF'>36lbs is an enormous amount of weight but the point of weighting is, the buoyancy of the individual and what suit, ie, thick neoprene or membrane.

I know this is not exactly what you are getting at Mary, you just want to see if anyone can beat 36lbs. I know a student who I trained and was small and slim and quite happily dived with 10lbs. Saw him recently with 20lbs and was considering adding more on the advice of the people he was diving with. It is can you guess, one of my pet hates.

Don't blame you, unfortunately this guy can't get off the surface with any less we've tried!
