I am trying to put together a webpage together which has a series of boxes which will be filled in for ordering some prints.

The following are required: 'Name', 'Address', 'Email address' & 'Telephone Number'

The boxes would be 'Reference' (free-text), 'Size' (drop-down) & 'Quantity' (numerical free text).

I would need around 10 boxes to start with but there should be an option to increase the numbers of boxes 10 at a time. No maximum number of boxes is required.

At the bottom of the page, I would like to have a button which says 'Paypal' or 'Cheque'.

There is then a submit button at the bottom which then sends an email to my address with the order details.

Anyone help out :D

Thanks

I love YD, thanks Steve. Have some green.

I will have a play and see what I can do with that.

Thanks guys, I have managed to find an immediate solution for the CD I have to deliver tomorrow but am open to offers (and would be rewarded) for something in the long term.

JasonP, not sure what the server is running on... :embarassed:

Is it publically viewable?

Designing the form is all in html, but you'll need a bit of code to do the actual emailing, so need to know what scripting is available.

If it's public, then be VERY careful about spamming. No magic wand solutions - research needed, it's NOT a hypothetical risk! - but if you want a laugh, try Googling for "guestbook viagra" - I've seen sites with guestbooks with 10,000 pages and spams arriving at hundreds an hour...

That's true, any form will need to be validated and checked both client side (not so important) and definately server side.

One of the easier ways to stop the potential email spamming is to post the messages to a database, although this does add the threat of database hacks.

The image verification scripts are easy to get hold of and use, you just need PHP with ImageMagik or GD extensions installed.

And I only got 79% on the geek test, ha!
